My weekend trip to Hangzhou was a total blast! Got lots of pictures, took in some amazing scenery and tasted some authentic Longjing Tea (at a tea grower's house, no less!). The Chinese call Hangzhou an Earthly Paradise. I agree with that. Inspite of the Spring Festival crowd, Hangzhou remained beautiful and peaceful. That is Paradise. It's cleaner and greener than any other Chinese city. It abounds in myth and history and is a very well-managed place. I also caught a nasty cough. Not that it spoiled my trip.
